When Semiya and Gamze’s fathers are murdered, the police do something strange: instead of leading an open investigation, they home in on the families. Meanwhile the killing spree continues. By the end, nine men of Turkish, Kurdish and Greek origin are dead. And when Gamze and Semiya find out that an intelligence agent was present during one of the murders, their worst fears are confirmed. It’s a story about grief, trust and a country blinded by its pledge to overcome the past.
